This is Colin. You probably know who the wee red haired guy is next to him. (plot twist, its me😂) CJ Richardson

Colin got in touch from Evan’s Halshaw Ford East Kilbride with a plan. I LOVE when people have a plan! He wanted to launch this initiative to fill the boot of a car with donations. A very cool and generous plan I thought. Right?

Corporate meets Charity, one of my very favourite things. Listen, these guys are fighting the fight down there. Selling cars in a recession. We are ALL fighting the fight right now, just existing in a recession. But lovely Scott still wanted to do something that mattered for people who are truly struggling. People who matter.

We are going to finish this week having provided nearly 300 food bags. 300 families. Never have we had to manage numbers like this. We were running out of food as we closed today and had to do emergency shopping. We still have tomorrow to get through.

Because of people like Colin and Evans Halshaw Ford we can. Because of all of you, who support, donate and keep us in your thoughts, prayers and positive manifestations. We can do it for now. I don’t know what the coming weeks and months looks like. How we cope.

I do know because of initiatives like this we can carry on somehow. So thank you Halshaw Ford. Thank you to all of the team. We love ya, and you guys? The guys on your team, at this showroom. The people who support it and bring an item to put in the boot? You also matter. Just like the people you will help. We are a family. Everyone in it matters. 🩵💛🥖🐠

🎉 What an incredible milestone! 🎉

Today, we had the absolute pleasure of handing over the 1,000,000th Ford Puma Gen-E to its proud new owner, Mrs Horton! 🚗⚡

As if that wasn't special enough, Mrs Horton also won an all-expenses-paid trip to Romania to witness her very own car being built at the factory – a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience! 🇷🇴🏭

It's been an absolute privilege to be part of such a memorable moment. We're incredibly proud to have played a role in this milestone and to share in the excitement with you and the entire Ford family.

Congratulations once again, and thank you for letting us be part of your journey. Here's to many happy miles ahead! 🎊💙

My First Car: Then & Now 🚗

For generations of drivers, the Ford Fiesta wasn't just a car - it was freedom, independence, and the start of countless memories.

Back in 1976, the very first Ford Fiesta arrived and quickly became a favourite thanks to its simple design, affordability, and impressive fuel economy. Compact, reliable, and easy to drive, it was the perfect first car for new drivers and young families alike. It proved that a small car could be practical, fun, and full of character.

Fast forward to the final generation, and the Fiesta had transformed into a stylish, technology-packed hatchback. With its sleek looks, advanced driver-assistance features, touchscreen infotainment with smartphone connectivity, award-winning EcoBoost engines, and refined driving experience, it continued to be one of Britain's best loved cars.

From its humble beginnings in 1976 to its final chapter, the Ford Fiesta evolved with every generation while never losing what made it special - a fun, dependable car that created memories for millions of drivers. 💙
