Big thank you to all our members who gave up their time over the last week to make sure the track is as good as it can be for the BRCA SORS 2026 Round 3 - Glasgow event 👏 🙏.

Hopefully we have booked the sun 🌞. When we left today there was no standing water on the track.

A few notes for racers:-

Please bring your own gazebo, chair and table for pitting. This is your responsibility!

Mains power is provided at the track for charging ONLY. No kettles or blowers please. Please bring your own extension lead.

We have a decent club blower to clean cars which will be located behind the container. 🌬️

The toilets in the sports club will be open from 7.30am. Snacks, crisps, sweets, cold drinks, teas and coffees, latte etc are available from the sports club. Please be kind to the staff! This time there is no hot food available.

Please park responsibly as we share the space with other parts of the sports club.

Most of all we hope you have a fantastic day of racing! Any questions, just ask.

BRCA Scottish Off Road Series SORS

Glasgow Raceway is looking great, ready for BRCA SORS 2026 Round 3 - Glasgow where the top electric powered RC car racers in Scotland battle it out. Hope to see some great racing! It's free to watch, so come along and have a look what goes on! Racing all day and the most exciting races from 3pm to 5pm.

Located behind the East Kilbride Sports Club tennis courts in Calderglen Country Park.

Happy Friday everyone! In just ONE WEEK we will be on astroturf for BRCA SORS 2026 Round 3 - Glasgow , at their big and fast track in Calderglen Park, East Kilbride.

Race entry £10 per car, cheaper than any of the other BRCA Regional Series in the UK. Normal booking will close at 10pm on the Wednesday before the event, same as last year, but we've also implemented a late booking option which is available up until 10pm on the Friday before the event for an extra £5 per car. If you miss it, you're welcome to come and watch regardless.

The tyre rule will be the same as last year, which is that the rear tyres are Schumacher Mezzos of any compound and Ballistic Buggy Mini Spikes of any compound. Their new astro is extremely grippy and proved during a rainstorm last year that it is an extremely resilient surface, so Mezzos will be order of the day.

Track closed until Sunday for the BRCA Scottish Off Road Series SORS meeting. Absolutely NO one is allowed to run an RC car on the track until next Sunday. Hope to see you there and if you haven't already make sure you book in. The track isn't finished yet and more work will be done this week. Huge thanks to all the volunteers who gave up their time this weekend to give the place some TLC. 🙏 👍

Track work party on both Saturday and Sunday 10am till 1ish on Saturday and 10am to 4.30 on Sunday. Plenty of jobs for everyone and all help from volunteers very much appreciated. Let's get ready to RACE! Sunday we should have some food too!
