Accidentally poured AdBlue into a diesel tank? DO NOT turn the key!
AdBlue is a water-and-urea solution, not a fuel additive. If you leave it in your tank, it rapidly crystallizes, corroding your fuel pump and destroying expensive high-pressure diesel injectors.
Watch how our Fuel Fixer saved this van on-site after the driver realized their mistake.
1️⃣ Complete Evacuation: Extracted 100% of the contaminated diesel and AdBlue mixture directly from the fuel tank before the engine was ever started.
2️⃣ Ethanol-Based System Flush: Filled the tank with a specialized ethanol-based cleaning agent to break down, neutralize, and wash away any remaining water and urea residues.
3️⃣ Vacuum-pumped the cleaner out of the tank to leave a completely dry, residue-free fuel cell.
4️⃣ Fresh Fuel & First-Time Start: Topped up with fresh diesel, and the engine started first time with ZERO damage!
Don’t let an AdBlue misfuel error result in a £4,000 dealership bill. Keep the key OFF and call the mobile remediation specialists!
