We are deeply saddened by the news that country music legend Dolly Parton has died 🤍

Dolly's passing was announced by her nephew Bryan Seaver on Instagram, who said: “This video announcement is something Dolly asked of me years ago, before I fully absorbed it as a future reality. As her head of security for more than two decades, a role my father Larry held before me, I have imagined the heaviness of this moment but haven’t truly felt it until now."

“It is an honour, an honour that is mixed with absolute pride and great sadness.”

"Dolly opened doors not just for me, but for her entire family to reach the potential we didn't even know was possible. Dolly also opened doors for generations of singers, songwriters, musicians, and dreamers from every walk of life, and across every continent. By her example, we believed that anything was possible. She never saw a door she couldn't open, and the doors she opened made and changed history."

My friend Gregg who is one of our regular dealers runs a number of good fairs in the South East, his next fair is not too far away in Coulsdon this coming Saturday.

Managed to get a banner up near the venue to advertise this Saturdays fair, I know it’s the holidays but you gotta make a journey to see all the lovely vinyl LPs, 45’s and cds for sale
Look forward to seeing you all 9am till 3pm, two guys spinning tunes!

Now the World Cup has finished its time for another Record Fair.
So, Saturday 1st August 9am till 3pm . Lots of lovely vinyl, new and secondhand to suit all tastes and all budgets.
A new face, shop owner from Caterham as well as our friendly favourites.
