💥 Another busy week on the spanners! 🔧🚐

It’s been a mixed week of mobile repairs and helping out local garages with their overflow work. Here’s a few of the jobs I’ve completed:

🔧 Ford KA – Replaced a coolant core plug on the timing belt side and refilled with fresh coolant.

🔧 Ford EcoSport – Fitted new lower arms, rear springs, front brakes, and a new heater resistor after the blower fan decided it wanted to stay on 24/7 in this heat! 🥵

🔧 Relay 2.2 Van – New turbo, intercooler, and a full service to get it back running as it should.

🔧 Ford Kuga – New alternator fitted and back on the road.

A big thank you to the local garages that have kept me busy with overflow work too—it’s always appreciated! 👌

Today’s mobile job was replacing a set of rear brake pads on this Hyundai Tucson, all completed at the customer’s location.

🔧☀️ Another Big Job Completed in the Heat! ☀️🔧

Today we completed a full clutch and dual-mass flywheel replacement on a Ford Transit 2.0 EcoBlue FWD Tipper.

With temperatures soaring, it was definitely one of the hotter jobs we’ve tackled recently, but the customer needed their vehicle back on the road, so we got stuck in and got it done. 💪

The gearbox was removed, the worn clutch and dual-mass flywheel replaced, and a new concentric slave cylinder fitted before everything was reassembled and tested.

✅ New clutch kit fitted
✅ New dual-mass flywheel fitted
✅ New slave cylinder fitted
✅ Gearbox removed and refitted
✅ Road tested and ready for work

A slipping clutch, difficulty selecting gears, clutch judder, or rattling noises can all be signs that your clutch system is due for replacement.
