Just finished a four day move bringing Lazy Notes home to her marina near Leicester.
Thank you to VLKs John and Neil at Atherstone Locks for being so helpful and friendly and for the expert tuition given to Andrea my newest Crew member.

Day one of a new move today of NB Lazy Notes, started on The Ashby Canal, a new canal for me which is always nice. Waiting for the locks at Atherstone to open in the morning.

Two moves on the go, one on the Macclesfield Canal about to come to a halt as it looks like Bosley Locks will be shut for four weeks. Brought boat up Marple Locks this morning, many thanks to all the volunteers especially Mark who took me all the way up Canal & River Trust Canal & River Trust Volunteers
Other move in the hands of my trusted skipper Philip Clayton heading for Trent Lock, he had to deal with a starting issue earlier in the week which is now sorted and he is making great progress.

Great day moving NB Rachel Catherine up to Manchester Piccadilly Basin, lots of attention and advice from The Gay Village, thanks Julia Lewis-Mills for your excellent lock work on some of the hardest paddles anywhere.
Wouldn't have got here without the skills of Paul from River Canal Rescue getting the boat started.

A challenging day yesterday moving two boats from Marple to Droylsden.
Marple Locks are open Thursdays only due to water levels in the feeder reservoir, thanks as always to the fantastic Canal & River Trust Volunteers especially Mark who took me top to bottom.
Then the fun started, had the worst for me stuff around the prop shaft, a load of metal fencing! Took some getting off.
Thanks Martyn Paul Steele for getting it off.
We now have a snapped alternator belt to deal with, waiting for local car spares to open.
