Adam’s M140i came to us with the dreaded cylinder 6 misfire, after a tear down we found damage to both the cylinder and the piston ring lands.

As this is Adam’s daily driver and isn’t chasing crazy horsepower, he opted for one of our fast road engine build packages ensuring a solid, reliable unit for years to come with headroom for more power if he ever wants it!

As some know, we have been fitting out and moving into our brand new workshop over the past months. One room we have been looking forward to completing is our engine clean room!
This temperature controlled room will be used purely for measuring and assembly, keeping everything consistent and clean.

Next decision is which fitted cabinets to install ( perhaps?)

After many setbacks we are looking forward to clearing the backlog of engines and machining projects, thankyou to all our customers who have been super patient!

BMW S58 block out of the CNC machining centre and into the hone! Measuring the sleeves and honing each individual parent bore ensures the fit is correct across the board. Also, a larger,smoother surface area aids heat transfer out of the cylinder!

We often get involved with some serious machining projects but this one is a real privilege to be involved with! .grant awesome 2JZ powered promod Porsche is an unbelievable build with the highest attention to detail. After a few changes to his spec he brought his billet block to us for torque plate honing to suit his and set the surface finish for his application, plenty of RvK to aid oil retention with the use of methanol fuel and plenty of boost!
