Another Ingenium 3.0 DT306 engine on our test bed today. 🔧

These engines can suffer from excessive carbon contamination in the oil, particularly when subjected to long service intervals. The 20,000-mile service interval recommended by Land Rover is, in our experience, far too long for these engines. We would strongly recommend reducing the interval by at least half and servicing the engine every 10,000 miles.

Regular oil changes with the correct specification oil can make a significant difference to the long-term health and reliability of these engines.

When properly maintained and serviced, the DT306 can be a great engine and offer excellent performance.
