We are a friendly family owned adult only Touring & Holiday Home park which is maintained to an exceptionally high standard and enjoys magnificent views across the River Tay. The Park borders the beach & championship golf course, yet it is only a 5 minute walk from village shopping & supermarket. It is an ideal touring base giving the perfect environment for both relaxation & outdoor pursuits. We also hold an AA 4 Pennant, a Thistle Award for our Holiday Homes & a David Bellamy Conservation Award. We are also members of the British Holiday & Home Park Association and Best of British Touring & Holiday Parks.

🌿 Riverview Park – Sunday Update 🌿

What a lovely weekend it’s been here at Riverview! ☀️😎

The weather has been absolutely glorious over the weekend, and for the middle of October, we really can’t complain! We’ve added some photos below taken yesterday and today around the park. 📸🌊

It’s hard to believe we’re now heading into the final couple of weeks of our 2026 touring season!

🍂 Just a reminder that we’ll be closing for touring on Monday 2nd November, so there’s still time to squeeze in one last visit before we close for winter.

The park is much quieter midweek at the moment, which makes it a fantastic time to visit if you enjoy a little extra peace and quiet. With the beach right on our doorstep and some lovely pitches available throughout the park, it’s a great opportunity to enjoy Riverview at a more relaxed pace. 😊

Looking ahead to the weekends…

Next weekend is already starting to fill up, as is our final weekend of the season, but we still have plenty of fantastic pitches available in all areas of the park at the time of writing.

And a little word about the weather forecasts… 😅🌦️

The weather apps seem determined to show rain every day this coming week, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s going to rain all day! Often it’s just showers at certain times, and as we’ve seen plenty of times this season, the weather here by the coast can be completely different from what the apps are suggesting! 😎☀️

So we’re certainly not writing off the weather just yet… there’s still time for a few more lovely autumn days before we close! 🤞

🏡 A little bit of holiday home news too…

You might notice in some of our photos that a few of our holiday home pitches are looking a little empty at the moment.

Don’t worry, they won’t be staying that way for long! We’ve got some new holiday homes coming to Riverview, which will be available for sale soon, including one on our fantastic beachfront front row! 🌊🏡

We’ll share more information and photos once everything is in place, so keep an eye on our page if you’ve ever fancied having your own little place by the sea. 😊

🌿 Riverview Park – Thursday Update 🌿

And just like that… we’re into October! 🍂😳

Where has the time gone?! It really doesn’t seem that long ago that we were getting everything ready to open for the 2026 season, and now we’re heading into our final few weeks.

The weather has actually been really good over the last few days, and it’s meant to stay nice over the weekend too ☀️😎 Not bad at all for the start of October!

Looking towards the weekend, we still have pitches available for tomorrow and over the weekend, so with the weather looking good, if you fancy a last-minute trip to the coast, we can still fit you in. 😊🌊

Things are also much quieter midweek now, which is actually a lovely time to visit Riverview. If you fancy a really peaceful few days away, with a quieter park and the beach right on the doorstep, we have some fantastic midweek availability throughout October.

🍂 Just a little reminder — we only have around four weeks of our season left!

Our final day for the 2026 touring season will be Monday 2nd November, when we’ll close for the winter.

🌿 Riverview Park Update – Where Has September Gone?! 🌿

We honestly can’t believe we’re coming to the end of September already! 😳🍂 It really doesn’t feel that long ago that we were getting the park ready to open for the 2026 season.

We’ve still got a good few weeks left though! Our current plan is to close for the season on Monday 2nd November, so there’s still plenty of time to squeeze in another Riverview visit before we close the gates for winter. 😊

⛳ Next week is Alfred Dunhill Links week!

The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship takes place from Thursday 1st – Sunday 4th October, with play across Carnoustie, Kingsbarns and the Old Course at St Andrews.

It’s always a brilliant event for the area, with some of the world’s best golfers playing alongside famous faces from the worlds of sport, TV, music and entertainment — so there’s always the opportunity for a bit of celebrity spotting too! 👀😎

Even better, admission is FREE on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Carnoustie, Kingsbarns and St Andrews, so if you’re staying with us next week, it’s a fantastic opportunity to head along and experience some world-class golf.

The final day on Sunday takes place at the Old Course in St Andrews and is ticketed.

It’s a lot quieter midweek just now and we still have plenty space for it it along with our sister park www.woodlandscaravanpark.net at Carnoustie (same park team does. Everything at both parks).

📸 We’ve also added some photos below from around the park over the last week, along with a few taken today first. We had 22 degrees last Tuesday and it was so warm. The weather forecast isn’t helping us at all saying rain as it’s turned out really nice most days.

September has been another busy month for us, so far particularly at the weekends, but we still have availability as we head into October. If you fancy a quieter autumn break by the beach before our season comes to an end, we’d love to see you. 🌊🍂

🍂🌊 September Park Update 🌊🍂

After an extremely busy July and August, things are beginning to settle down a little at Riverview and we’re now back to more normal availability following the summer rush!

Midweek is particularly quieter at the moment, so if you fancy a few peaceful days away by the sea, September is a lovely time to visit Monifieth. The park and beach are a little quieter, but there’s still plenty of the season left to enjoy. 😊

📸 We thought we’d share some recent views of the park too. Some of these photos were taken around the park on Friday, just before I left for the evening, along with some drone photos taken yesterday (Saturday). It’s always nice to see Riverview from a completely different perspective — especially with the beach and River Tay right on our doorstep! 🚁🌊

📅 A little update on the end of our touring season too…
Our touring season will finish on Monday 2nd November this year. The 31st October falls on a Saturday and it just didn't seem fair to close halfway through a weekend! We also already have quite a few bookings in for that final weekend, so we'll be keeping the park open and giving everyone the chance to enjoy the full weekend before we close the touring side for the winter.

That means there's still almost two months of the season left — plenty of time to fit in another Riverview break before we close the gates for winter. 🍂

⭐ We've absolutely loved having everyone with us over the summer. July and August were incredibly busy, and it has been brilliant welcoming back so many familiar faces as well as meeting lots of guests visiting Riverview for the first time.

🌿 Riverview Park Update 🌿

It’s been a proper beach week here at Riverview this week! ☀️🌊😎

We’ve been sitting with temperatures in the high 20s and it has been absolutely glorious — it’s felt more like Spain than Scotland at times! 😅☀️ Hopefully the weather sticks around for a while longer 🤞😎😎😎

We’ve been incredibly busy over the past few weeks, and we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has visited us.

Summer touring has well and truly arrived! 😎

Most weekends between now and the end of July are already nearly fully booked - we do still have spaces here and there. If availability is showing on our online booking system, then we do still have space available for those dates — but we’d recommend booking sooner rather than later for weekends.

🌿 Riverview Park – Wednesday Update 🌿
We've got loads of photos to share from around the park over the past week, but today we thought we'd do something a little different and share some videos and photos from the beach instead 📸🌊

The beach was looking absolutely amazing today 😎
We've been incredibly lucky with the weather recently, enjoying what can only be described as a bit of a heatwave, with temperatures reaching around 28°C yesterday and 26°C today ☀️

If you've been staying with us this week, we hope you've been making the most of it! There's nothing quite like enjoying a cold drink, a walk along the beach, or simply relaxing outside when the weather is like this 😎😎

Looking ahead, Riverview is fully booked this weekend, and we'd like to thank everyone who has chosen to stay with us.

🌿 Riverview Park Update 🌿

Another busy weekend here at Riverview! 😊

We’ve added some photos below taken today and throughout the past week 📸

The World Cup has officially started, and we’re all excited to watch Scotland tonight 😎🏴 There is a real buzz around the park today, and we’re hoping for a great result!

Whilst we can’t quite beat the excitement of Scotland playing, we are absolutely delighted to announce that Riverview has once again received a Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award for 2026 ⭐️

A huge thank you to everyone who has taken the time to leave us such kind reviews over the years. They really do make a difference, helping future guests discover the park and giving them the confidence to book with us. We genuinely appreciate every single review. 🙏

Weather-wise, it’s been a bit windy over the past few days, but we’ve actually enjoyed some lovely weather despite the weather apps showing what feels like constant rain! 😅

We’re also excited to announce that we now have a drone thanks to Genio Tech Dundee - They’ve looked after a number our devices over the years and have always done a fantastic job. If you ever have a problem with a phone, iPad, laptop, or other tech, they come highly recommended by us. They definitely know their stuff! 😎

On the subject of awards, we’re also delighted to say that our sister park, Woodlands Caravan Park⁠ in Carnoustie, has also received a Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award for 2026 - Woodlands has recently made the move to become an adult-only park, creating an even quieter and more relaxing atmosphere for guests. 🌿 monday Park Update 🌿

This park update is definitely long overdue! 😅

The park has been very busy and we’ve just come through our second Bank Holiday weekend, where the park was once again completely full, and we’d like to thank everyone who visited us over the past few weeks.

We’ve also been having some lovely weather recently, with the park sitting at 27 degrees today ☀️ - Hopefully this is the start of the summer weather arriving! 😅

The park team have been doing a tremendous job keeping everything looking in perfect condition, and the park is ready for anyone who fancies a visit over the coming weeks.

Behind the scenes, we’ve also been working hard on our brand new website, which is due to be launched this week. We’re really excited to finally share it with everyone soon!

Thursday park update… what an amazing few days we’ve had weather wise. Temps have been lovely and the sun has been out in force with blue skies. It’s been glorious - especially down at the beach where it feels like being abroad. Some pics below taken today and yesterday 😎.

The park team have the park looking absolutely amazing, all set for a very busy few days where it’s the first May bank holiday weekend - our planters have also started to get filled up now the weather is a bit warmer 😅.

Lemongrass Asian Street food will be just outside the park this weekend offering absolutely delicious Asian inspired food. I’ve popped an updated menu below but I had this for dinner tonight and it’s so so good. Can’t help raving about it 😅 😋 . Instagram lemongrassstreetfood

We are completely full Saturday, but have some spaces Sunday onwards and a fair amount of pitches Monday onwards including some of my favourites. If you fancy a visit, please pop a booking in (booking info below).

If you are still looking for this weekend, please check out our sister park (www.woodlandscaravanpark.net in Carnoustie - fb: Woodlands Caravan Park). The same park team do everything at both sites and we are now pretty much adult only there too. Woodlands is looking just as amazing as Riverview and there will be a fb update for woodlands tomorrow. There’s also loads to do, similar to Monifieth and it’s a 10 min walk to Carnoustie beach which is lovely 😊.
