We are a successful busy, specialist automotive centre focused on car exhaust systems and alloy wheel refurbishment, repair, and replacement. We pride ourselves on top-tier technical work and outstanding customer care. We are looking for a welcoming, organized, and confident Front of House representative to be the face of our business.
The Role
You will be the first point of contact for our customers, bridging the gap between vehicle owners and our workshop technicians. You will manage inquiries, schedule bookings, and explain technical services—specifically regarding exhausts and alloy wheel cosmetics—with clarity and enthusiasm.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Greeting: Welcome visitors into the showroom or reception area in a polite and professional manner.
Handling Inquiries: Answer phone calls, emails, and live chat messages regarding alloy repairs, custom finishes, and exhaust quotes.
Booking & Scheduling: Manage the daily workshop diary, booking cars in for quotes, diagnostics, and fitting.
Job Quoting & Invoicing: Prepare clear estimates, communicate additional required work found by technicians, and process final payments.
Showroom Presentation: Keep the front desk and waiting area clean, tidy, and welcoming.
Social Media Skills: To be able to promote our work across digital channels to target audiences.
What We Are Looking For
Proven experience in a customer-facing, reception, or service advisor role (automotive background is a strong plus).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic understanding of or a strong passion for cars, alloy wheels, or vehicle mechanics.
Confident IT skills for booking systems and email management.
A proactive, problem-solving attitude with a friendly disposition and a
Driving licence.
