Started with a beautiful glassy Tay this morning and finished with some quite spicy wind and waves 🌊 🚤
No 🐬 today so several visits to Tentsmuir and the V&A and waterfront. What does this mean for those wanting to see our aquatic pals tomorrow? Nothing really. They shall be there or they shall not, that’s the beauty of free and wild animals. Come for the boat trip, 🐬are always an incredible bonus ♥️

Beautiful trips this morning with 2/3 seeing 🐬 and the 3rd seeing porpoise 😊

I’m going to take a punt on it this being a Grilse 🤓
Young Salmon that’s spent 1 year in Atlantic and coming back up river to spawn, or not! 🐬

I am rarely right about these things though and if there’s one thing I know about the fishing community it’s that they will soon tell me 🤣

Everyday on the Tay Estuary is photography day but here’s a few favourites of mine this year 😊
I’ve always enjoyed taking a photo but that’s ramped up in recent years. I see so many of you that are doing the same. Such a good reason to get out and about with a wee purpose. I wouldn’t have had the patience for putting reels of film in and sending them off for developing but the tech now is incredible. Doesn’t quite ‘take it for you’ and you have to frame and choose your subject however high quality photography is open to almost everyone now. If you’d like a good reason to get out the house I’d thoroughly recommend you give it a go ♥️

Managed 3/4 trips(3/3 saw 🐬) before the rain set in solidly. With circa 5 miles to do just not feasible in a boat that travels 25mph. Would take a layer of skin off you 😒 I’m sorry for the 3 families and in touch with you all re sorting out 🫶

I’m a broken record I know but someone needs to shout! The Tay is ALIVE with life atm get yourself down the waterfront if you can’t get out with us ♥️

I’ve put loads up of the wee one in first picture, melt your heart stuff, click and go landscape it’s worth it 😍
