When slip roads get tricky…

The dreaded parallel park today, for a lot of people anyway 😂. Starting points help but the best way to think about the manoeuvre is you’re getting your car at angle so you’re pointing into the space, then you need to get closer to the pavement while gradually straightening up the front of the car. Any questions just leave a comment or DM me.

Bay parking reversing into a bay either side. Both bay parks are easy to correct so if anyone is struggling to know how to correct them then just drop me a DM or leave a comment and I’ll add videos on how to correct both. On a driving test you are allowed to make multiple corrections driving in and back out again.

How to do a bay park driving forwards into a bay on the right hand side. Always easier to practise in quieter areas of car parks to begin where’s there’s no other cars. Once you’re used to it, then parking after another solo parked car is quite easy to judge as you have a natural turning point or know what you’re trying to avoid hitting 😂.

Big Seb dealing with the short slip road emerging from Charleston in Dundee very well 👌🏼 especially considering he hasn’t been on that one before! Had to slow down and wait for two trucks to clear the left lane before he could join safely. CC to translate from Dundonian to English 😂

Another pass today for Hannah Telford sailing through her test first time! Also driving a car she’s never driven before since her test overlapped Kev’s 😩. Been a journey and one that helped you achieve your goal 🚗💨 all the trauma of the fiat 500 going “missing” for a bit inbetween but you didn’t let it shake you haha. Well done again and see you on the roads!

Congratulations to Kevin Keenan today passing his test on a busy Wednesday afternoon with ZERO faults 👏🏼🚗 great drive mate! Nearly got hijacked from a random on Liff Road though chapping the window mid-test 🤣 thankfully the doors were locked haha. All the best on the road Mrs Keenan 😂😂 I’ll keep an eye out for when you get your own motor. Thanks again and all the best on the roads!

Surprise test for Ellie Cooney today, kept it secret and went in and done the business first time 👏🏼. Been great all the way through your lessons, building your understanding and improving every week without fail. Well done and enjoy the freedom 🚗💨 I’ll miss the weekly chats and havering nonsense, dangerous combo as we both like to blether 😂

Happy Monday to Lauren Dewar today, easy work on her driving test passing with just the two minors 💅🏼 Gary didn’t half keep you sweating as he was talking to me about the new car while you’re sitting dying to hear if you’d passed or not 🤣 knew he was just holding off though he’s not that evil haha. Hope you get your car today and get some time out on your own! Thanks again and see you on the roads 🚗💨

Massive well done to the big man today, smashing his driving test first time with just two driving faults 🚗💨 brilliant drive mate, knew you’d be able to make it look easy. Put in all the hard work during uni and working nights and it paid off! Also justifying me getting a bigger car as we needed something bigger than the polo to fit your long legs in 💪🏼😂. Congratulations again mate sure I’ll see you soon when I’m passing your street to see Gav 🤣
