🚐 2024 Ford Transit Custom — Accident Damage Repair

Another one completed and back looking proper! 🔥

This one involved a new quarter panel replacement, along with fabricating a section of the outer sill as the complete section isn’t available separately — saving the customer around £1,300 on the replacement section. 👌

The customer supplied a second-hand sliding door, but it was far from a straightforward replacement. The door had multiple dents and creases to repair, along with aftermarket lock holes which we deleted and smoothed for a clean finish.

Everything is now built back up, with the adjacent panels blended into the repair for a seamless finish. 🎨

🚗💥 Another transformation completed at Apex Automotive!

This Ford Fiesta ST-Line came in with a badly damaged front bumper — heavily scraped and completely split.

Rather than replacing the bumper and adding unnecessary cost, we kept the repair affordable by repairing and retaining the original panel, saving the customer £££ while still achieving a great finish. 🙌

We also supplied and fitted:

✅ Replacement fittings

Transit Custom in for a rear door tidy-up after picking up a nasty dent. 👨‍🔧

Once we stripped the doors down, it became clear they’d been repaired before—the lower sections were packed with filler. 🫣

The ideal repair would have been replacement door skins to completely eliminate the rust, but that wasn’t within the customer’s budget. Instead, we removed as much corrosion as possible, treated the affected areas correctly, carried out the repairs, and refinished everything to a high standard.

Not every job calls for a full replacement—sometimes it’s about delivering the best possible result within the customer’s budget, and that’s exactly what we did. Clean finish, happy customer. ✅

Audi RS3 in for some tasteful styling mods 🔥

Fitted a Maxton front splitter and side skirt extensions to sharpen up the look 👌

When fitting these kits, we’ve seen supplied hardware pull through or fail at higher speeds 😬 so wherever possible we use larger washers to help distribute the load and keep everything secure for the long haul.

We also found some of the undertray bolts starting to seize in the subframe (steel bolts into aluminium 😓). Everything was cleaned up and greased on reassembly to help prevent future headaches.

It’s the little details that make the difference 🔧
