Driving on a Provisional Licence – Know the Law 🚓

If you’re learning to drive in Scotland, make sure you’re doing it legally:

✅ You must be supervised by someone aged 21+ who has held a full UK licence for at least 3 years
✅ L plates must be clearly displayed (front and rear)
✅ You must be insured to drive the vehicle
✅ Motorways are only allowed with an approved driving instructor in a dual-control car
✅ Alcohol and drug limits apply – the same as for full licence holders

❌ Driving without supervision, insurance, or L plates can lead to fines, penalty points, and your licence being revoked.
