Got a call of banging coming from both front sides on a Peugeot Expert and a fuel leak. Ended up having major play/movement in the steering arm and track rod end. Got the new parts and fitted and diagnosed the leak as a previously incorrectly fitted fuel filter! Got a new seal as the old was damaged and it’s as good as new.

Rear pads ended up with a caliper rebuild yesterday, all new seals and piston and back on the road.

Customer came by with their landcruiser and a window that went down and won’t come back up. Some tests later and we found it was the motor that had packed in, changed the window motor the customer can park outside without a wet interior👍🏻

Called out to a job this morning where a polo’s dash lights kept intermittently turning off and back on again. Pulled it apart to find the connections were broken/loose. Re soldered and built back up with a complimentary code scan to find what was wrong with their SRS. Booked in for another job next week.

Got a call for another alternator failure this morning. This time on a polo, tested and it was charging at just over battery voltage (12v) got a new one ordered and replaced it to check it was charging at 14.3 with the new one👌🏻.

Got a call about a dead battery on a land cruiser that turned out to be a faulty alternator.

Tested, stripped down and got a new one fitted and tested so they’re back on the road today to buy the last of the presents!
