A fresh batch of our hugely popular MG Midget and Austin Healey Sprite semi elliptic rear leaf springs have just arrived. Manufactured in the UK to our own specifications, these springs were originally developed for racing to help improve the handling under heavy cornering speeds.
Over the years we have seen more and more customers start to use these springs on their road cars as well, which has led us to now offer both a 1" lowered or 3" lowered version. While our 3" lowered version is designed more for track usage the 1" lowered version offers the same build quality, but only drops the car approximately 1" lower than the standard OE ride height be more suited to road conditions.

Looking to upgrade your rear hubs? Designed to better support the half shaft, the Peter May Engineering double bearing hub kit spreads the load to reduce the flexing that occurs with a standard hub under cornering.
Developed to be used on both fast road and competition A series axle cars including MG Midget and Austin Healey Sprite, Austin A35, A40 and Morris Minor) this kit can be used with either drum brakes or rear disc brake cars, It can also be used with steel wheel or wire wheel cars! The CNC machined hub kit comes complete with bearings, cir-clips and rear oil seal!

Are you looking to upgrade your 7.5" clutch cover and plate? Here at Peter May Engineering we stock covers and plates for fast road and competition MG Midget and Austin Healey Sprites, designed to handle higher power engines without clutch slip these clutches are a perfect way to upgrade your Midget or Sprite.
Furthermore, when buying a competition cover or plate if you do not already have a roller release bearing one will need to be fitted, luckily Peter May Engineering stock a roller release bearing kit for a 7.5" clutch, if you already have one fitted this is also something we would always recommend you replace when your replacing your clutch.

Here at Peter May Engineering we stock the latest NXG L*D which is designed to be the strongest, most versatile L*D unit on the marketplace. The NXG bevel and planet gear pack, with its big, strong tooth profile, gives not only a smooth mesh, but eliminates the rattle and excessive backlash often associated with L*D's. Whilst the plate pack, which always runs on a minimum of 8 active surfaces even in our lighter pre-load settings, gives maximum surface to surface area contact during use!
Furthermore here are Peter May Engineering we are able to build up a complete differential ready to be fitted into your car!
