It is with sadness that I am letting you all know, that as of today, I have finished being a driving instructor. I worked really hard to qualify, and was thrilled when I passed my part 3 exam in September 2009. I have loved doing the job (well most of the time). BUT it is the self employed part I hate. One week I can be busy, and the next really quiet, I have had 10 people pass their test over the past 2 weeks, so would now be quiet. Plus lots of other stresses, such as other drivers being aggressive (even though most of the time it's them in the wrong), people not turning up for lessons, or cancelling at the last minute even though I've juggled things around to fit them in. Having to do the paper work of tax and things. BUT apart from that it was a brilliant job. I have loved meeting everyone that I have taught over the 4 years, and love seeing them driving their cars around. So even though its sad, it's time to move on.

Congratulations to Phillip for passing his test today first time. Phillip had his first lesson in August and has passed his theory and practical in 2 months. Well done!!!

Congratulations to Jordan, who passed his test yesterday, even though he had a bruised hand and leg from a skating accident. Careful on them things, you might break your leg next time!!

A driving theory test advert that claimed a charge of £31 but levied nearly £50 has been banned. It follows a move to block adverts from websites that charge for the traveller EHIC card, which is free from the NHS.

Congratulations to Luke for passing his driving test first time. Bridlington was the busiest it gets, with it being mid-day on a Saturday on a Bank Holiday weekend. Well done!!
