This is my personal scooter that, unfortunately, I am letting go of. I am very reluctant to see it go and would keep it if space allowed, but with a new project on the way I just do not have the room for it.

It has had a full engine strip and rebuild, new clutch, new CDI, new piston and a rebore in the past year, so in great working order - just needs running in. All lights and indicators work as they should, as well as the horn. Has been fitted with a flip choke as the original choke mechanism hasn’t worked since I bought it and I just haven’t had the time to rectify it, but other than that everything does what it says on the tin. Very nippy scooter and very quick off the mark. It’s gotten me to Llandudno and back, so reliable too. As seen in the photos, there are a couple of scrapes on the panel, but a new panel and spray can that has been paint matched to the scooter will come with it.

As we get closer to christmas, we would like to announce our closing and reopening times over the festive season.

After a thankfully unproblematic ride from Hull to Llandudno and back a few weeks ago, i’ve had two breakdowns in two weeks.

First was due to my clutch essentially exploding on my way home from work. Luckily, Ian Stuart Okey dropped everything and missed his evening news to come a pick me and my scooter up, so big thank you to Ian and also to Mike VW who came and brought my scooter up to work for me the following Tuesday.

While being at the unit, me and Scott stripped the engine and encountered numerous problems and bodges in the process… but I was back up and running by Friday, ready for Mabelthorpe on the Saturday.

I made it 8 miles before I had another breakdown… typical. After spending a while at the side of the road, I had Sid from Scooter Slags pull up beside me, who spread the word that I was, yet again, stranded. I was later picked up by a very kind gent, who had seen a post made by Sid and came to help me get back to Driffield and my scooter back to work. I now know my CDI had gone down.

I would like to give a big thank you to both Sid and Tommy for their kindness on Saturday and taking the time to help me out. It is massively appreciated and I owe you both a drink🍺!
