What an incredible day we had at our Family Fun Race Day yesterday! 🎉
A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a special occasion. It was wonderful to see such fantastic crowds and so many happy faces enjoying all the fun.
A very special congratulations to Ruby Burns (age 9) from Downpatrick, the winner of our Race Card Design Competition. Her artwork was a deserving winner and a fantastic design! We hope you’ll all agree she did an amazing job!
Thank you again to everyone who joined us! We’re racing again on Sunday, the 9th of August.

GANGSTER GRANNY was a popular winner of the novice hurdle for Crossgar trainer Colin McBratney under Darragh O'Keefe for local punters and may well be back again in August for one of our meetings, though a possible trip to Galway could also be on the cards for her next outing.

TRAINERS Joseph O'Brien and Gavin Cromwell took the opening two races and in the process made favourite backers very happy courtesy of Fastnet Crystal (13/8f) for O'Brien and Luker's Tipple (5/6f) landing the Randox Maiden Hurdle for Cromwell.
That was as good as it got as no other favourites entered the winner's enclosure for the rest of the day.

OUR FUNFAIR was a big hit with the kids all day and we also had a Tyrannosaurus Rex in the parade ring before racing - rumours that a few race-goers were eaten prior to the start of the racing action are completely untrue!!

WHAT A SUPER DAY'S RACING enjoyed by the massive crowd on a beautiful summer's day. Thanks to all who came along and enjoyed our Family Fun Day - we were over the moon to see so many familes having a great day and enjoying our funfair activities at 'The Friendliest Racetrack in Ireland". Thanks a lot to our visitors from Scotland and England who came along as part of their holidays.
The day started off with kids' races on the track with all participants receiving medals and some sweets.
