A great weekend for the South Coast Karting and a perfect example of what we mean when we say SCK is run by racers, for racers.
We have been involved in motorsport for generations, and that experience is now being used to give the next generation of drivers a place to learn, compete and develop.
Archie Cannon and Jayden Shearing both cut their teeth racing in our rental kart championships, starting out in Cadets. Archie went on to become a 2x Cadet Champion, while Jayden was a regular front runner.
Having progressed from rental karting to owner driver they both had a great weekend in thier respective classes this weekend.
Max Lovell - third generation of the Lovell family to work within the SCK family business was on track too along side Archie in Junior Rotax. With his uncle - Jim Lovell also taking to the track in the pit bike class.
For us, it’s not just about providing somewhere to have a go-karting experience. It’s about bringing drivers through, giving them a place to race, learn and develop and watching them take those skills into competitive motorsport.
This weekend those early Sck foundations created some great results.
