General Assistant

Dornoch Caravan & Camping Park

📍 Dornoch, Highlands
💰 £13.50 per hour
⏰ 40 hours per week (11:00am to 8:00pm)
📅 Includes weekend working
📆 Temporary position until late October / early November 2026

Dornoch Caravan & Camping Park is looking for a reliable and hardworking General Assistant to join our team for the remainder of the season.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. Duties will include:

✅ Cleaning facilities
✅ Serving and assisting customers
✅ Answering telephones and responding to enquiries
✅ Using our booking system and reception software
✅ Carrying out light maintenance tasks
✅ General site duties and helping with any other tasks that arise

The successful applicant will be flexible, self-motivated and happy to turn their hand to a wide range of duties. As the role involves being on your feet for most of the day and walking around a large holiday park, applicants should be physically fit and capable of carrying out manual tasks.

What we're looking for:

Friendly and professional manner
Good customer service skills
Reliable and punctual
Willingness to work as part of a team
Flexible approach to work
Previous customer service, cleaning or hospitality experience is helpful but not essential
