Great weekend for the team in Misano! Year of hard work paid off to get an overall win. Great drive by .

P1 T53 Tom Waterfield
P9 T53 Rod Jolley
DNF T51 Dean Baker

After lots of hard work changing Deans gearbox. It wasn’t meant to be after a racing incident, no fault of his own causing an early retirement.

What a weekend Both Grand Prix cars finished the weekend with phenomenal drives from both and Rod Jolley. Tommy started P31, back of the grid, and made his way up to P6 in the little Cooper T53. The 30 minute race saw him pick off 11 places on the first lap. We salute you Sir! Rod started P22 and finished P9 with a 1st in Class in the Cooper T43/51. This was the first outing at Spa for both cars. Thank you to the owner Tim Ross for sending them and giving us the pleasure of running them. What a team effort with and the boys (.png & Toby) having lots to do to make them finish the weekend. Enjoy the beers 📷

What a day! Unfortunately for the crown wheel and pinion went on the opening lap of HGPCA Race 1 but he will be back tomorrow. However Rod, having had water pump failure during the out-lap of qualifying yesterday, started from the back of the grid. P34 made it up to P20 before gremlins came back but finished in P24. What a run! He will be back to fight again tomorrow 📷

Great first day for the guys in Spa!

P3 for driving the Cooper T53 today in qualifying, unfortunately the T43/51 will be starting from the back tomorrow after snapping a drive shaft early on in the session. All fixed and ready to go for race one.

First outing of 2025! Goodwood Testing with a clutch of Coopers! Drizzly and damp day saw Chris Cooper and his two sons Finlay & Cameron out playing with their 1963 Morris Mini Cooper S. This beautiful car known as ‘Snot’ in Fiesta Yellow won the 2009 St Mary’s Trophy at Goodwood in the hands of & Oliver Gavin. This car came to us last season and the boys have been testing a few times. Hoping to get it out at Brands Hatch Mini Festival in Sanwa Trophy for Pre66 Minis

Terribly behind with posting our movements this past season but couldn’t resist a throwback from the past. Father wasn’t driving but can be seen managing the team and overseeing Nick Mason, Pete Clark and Martin Birrane. This was the last outing for Old Faithful at Le Mans

Today the B8 finally got dropped off for vapour blasting again ready for powder coating post dry build. Taken just over 4 years to get here but fitting to hit a milestone on what would have been my father’s 90th birthday today! This car will be finished this season. It’s been more than 50 years since my father raced it as his first Sportscar. It’s been an emotional journey with great people working on it and supporting me along the way.
