Unfortunately, another arrived as a recovery with oil pressure problems. The vehicle was 7,000 miles overdue for its service, and we found the oil filter completely blocked, causing the loss of oil pressure.

Sadly, the damage had already been done and the engine was beyond repair. 😔

🔧 SKODA BACK ON THE ROAD! 🚗

This Skoda came into us today with a knocking noise from the front suspension.

After carrying out a thorough inspection, we found the lower suspension arm bush had completely fallen out, leaving the arm unable to do its job properly.

Another fault diagnosed, repaired and another happy customer back on the road! 👌

⚡ Rare vehicle in the workshop this week⚡

We’ve had this seriously impressive Peugeot 508 PSE SW in with us at Euromotive this week for some maintained and repairs.

And when we say rare, we mean RARE! 🇬🇧

With only around 90 Peugeot 508 PSE estates ever registered in the UK, these are a very uncommon sight on British roads.

Under the bonnet sits the 1.6 turbo petrol engine, working alongside two electric motors to produce a combined 360bhp and 520Nm of torque, with electric all-wheel drive and an 8-speed EAT8 automatic gearbox.

0–62mph in just 5.2 seconds… from a Peugeot estate! 😮‍💨

The PSE isn’t just a normal 508 with a bit of extra power either. With its sophisticated plug-in hybrid drivetrain, rear electric motor, adaptive suspension, uprated brakes and plenty of additional technology, there’s a lot going on beneath its sporty surface.

It’s always a pleasure to see something a little different through the doors at Euromotive.

🐆 A Couple of nice Jaguars in the Workshop Today 🐆

A busy day at Euromotive Ltd with two Jaguars in for some attention.

🔧 Jaguar XE – In with a broken clutch pedal requiring a full pedal box replacement. We quickly got to work and had the vehicle repaired and ready to get back on the road.

🔧 Jaguar XF – In for a routine service and front brake replacement. We also updated the service history on the Jaguar online network, helping to maintain the vehicle’s service record and future value.

🔧 Lovely Audi A5 in with us today for a clutch and dual mass flywheel replacement.

The customer had noticed that something wasn’t quite right when pulling away. The engine revs were rising, but the vehicle was struggling to gain speed. After bringing the car in for inspection, we quickly diagnosed a slipping clutch.

With just over 100,000 miles on the clock we advised the customer that, due to the mileage and symptoms, the dual mass flywheel may also require replacement once inspected.

With no time wasted, we removed the gearbox and carried out a full inspection of the clutch assembly. As suspected, the clutch was heavily worn and the dual mass flywheel had reached the end of its service life.

To ensure the repair was completed to manufacturer standards, we replaced:

✅ Clutch kit
✅ Dual mass flywheel
✅ Bearing and nose cone
✅ One-time-use gearbox bolts as specified by Audi

The Audi was back on the road the very same day, driving exactly as it should, and most importantly, another happy customer.
