Audi a4 in for insurance repair. New wing, bumper and headlight supplied and fitted. Also an alloy wheel refurbishment! Insurance only paid for 1 wheel to be refurbished but we decided to do all 4 as a thank you to the customer for using our none fault claims department for all his repairs!

Smoke leak test completed today after a customers Land Rover experienced restricted performance. Upon this, the test revealed not one but both inlet manifolds having cracks in them resulting in loss of boost pressure.

Ford transit recovery truck in today for a smoke test as the customer said it was down on power and thought he had a boost leak but completing this we couldn’t find any leaks in the boosting system. Further diagnostics and a oil drain later we decided to remove the rover cover after the oil didn’t want to leave the sump freely and a massive shock to us all how the van was still running after seeing what oil was inside the engine. We completed a full service and striped off the top and bottom sump of the engine, cleaned and re fitted them all with new gaskets and even re seated and changed the injector seals. One last engine flush to make sure it’s back to how it should be and customer was on his way and back to work.
