So, I've just had a customer bring this to me from a "big" garage. There were 2 bolts snapped from the rocker cover. The garage told the customer "ooh that's not good, it's going to be £600+ to get them removed and put a new rocker cover and gasket on". It's took me the best part of half an hour in total and 5 mins to take out said bolts!! The way garages work nowadays is just absurd!! Be warned people there lots and lots of garages out there that just literally want your money, not to help you get your car fixed as quickly and efficiently as possible. Makes me ashamed to be a mechanic the way they behave!!
