πŸš— The 2 Second Rule – Are You Leaving Enough Space? πŸ‘€

One of the simplest ways to stay safe on the road is using the 2-second rule.

Here’s how:
➑️ Pick a fixed point ahead (a lamppost, road sign, bridge, etc.)
➑️ When the vehicle in front passes it, start counting: β€œOne thousand and one, one thousand and two”
➑️ If you pass that same point before you finish counting… you’re too close!

Keeping a safe following distance gives you more time to react, brake safely, and avoid unnecessary accidents.

🌧️ Wet roads? Increase it to at least 4 seconds
🧊 Ice or snow? Leave an even bigger gap

Safe driving isn’t about getting there faster β€” it’s about getting there safely.

You've spent hours learning, practising, and improving. Believe in the skills you've already developed.
