We are a 'moving solution' for anyone requiring the complete ‘One stop shop’ for all needs involving Vehicle hire, Self storage, Removals and storage. We provide moving solutions for customers looking to move either themselves or a whole house. We are an exciting and expanding privately run company based in Devizes, Wiltshire. We are recruiting for a Car Rental Agent/Self storage agent to join our team who will report directly to the Branch Manager.
This job would ideally suit someone with a receptionist background or a background in customer service. The job requires a very high level or multitasking and organisation and you must be able to understand your priorities and constantly reorder them as things can change very quick in this line of business. A strong ability to take in information and communicate with staff and customers is key to success in this role.
Responsibilities and Duties
Valeting and preparation of vehicles ready for rent
General maintenance and upkeep of the facility including cleaning, inspections and dealing with minor facility issues
Deal with all enquires that come in through the various channels I.e telephone, website, face to face and social media
Provide all customers with a complete end to end service from enquiry to checking the customer back in after a rental.
Creating a positively memorable experience for the customer.
Inspecting vehicles at the beginning and end of each rental for damage and charging customers for damage where appropriate
Reporting faults, damage or general un-roadworthiness in accordance with safety regulations and company processes
Conducting pre-rental vehicle safety inspections on fleet to ensure that vehicles are roadworthy and ready for hire
Ensuring all security and ID checks are completed following the company underwriting procedures
Processing of customers rentals, including taking payments and generating invoices
General administration duties
Dealing with all enquires that come in through the various channels
Showing customers self storage customers around the storage facility in order win their custom
The above list is not exhaustive and you may be required to carry out additional duties from time to time to meets the needs of the business.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience of working in a front line customer facing environment
Passionate about consistently exceeding the expectations of the customer
Positive focused attitude and outgoing personality
Outstanding communication and organisational skills
Ability to work on own initiative and also part of a team
Great attention to detail
MUST HAVE HELD FULL DRIVING LICENCE FOR AT LEAST 1 YEARS
Hours
Monday to Saturday 0800-1800 (day off given in the week)
47.5 hours per week

£22K+ bonus per year
