Few pics from work at the track over the last few weeks. All we need now is a week or so of dry weather to get the surface sorted.

A lot has been happening this week at the track. Despite the horrendous weather, Alan and Lynn have been working really hard digging drains.

While its pretty much impossible to get excited about drainage, it does make a huge difference to a track and should make conditions on the ground a lot better. Big thanks to them both.

Grass is slowly but surely dying off :) Temporary track is looking good for the open day.

For all those that are interested we are having an open day / fundraiser at our temporary track. The aim of this is to gather funds that will allow us to push on with the work at the main track, it all costs a lot of money. We are asking for a £5 fee per racer, however if you want to donate more we would be glad to accept it.

As this is being held at the temporary track please be aware that its a simple track with no facilities and based on rough ground, come prepared with suitable clothes and boots/wellies.

Our timing equipment will be available to anyone that wants to take part. We will find out if you are as fast as you think you are :) All models are welcome however bear in mind that it is an off-road track, also you do not have to race if you don't want to, there will be plenty of bashing sessions.

Directions : The track is located just off the main road to Belfast. As you go out of Drumahoe towards Belfast you go down the steep hill where Ness Nurseries used to be on the left, as you go back up the hill the road splits into two lanes, take the next road on your left as if you are going to Ness Woods, keep going until you see an old bar on your right (now closed) called the Ness Inn. We are at the opposite site of the road. Typing BT47 3TP into your satnav should get you close enough.

For anyone wishing to attend can you please reply to this post, it will help us prepare for numbers and so on. Also please share this with your friends, the more people we get interested the quicker we can get the work done on the permanent track.

More good news folks. We have purchased lap timing equipment + transponders that racers can use at our track. As the track is still a work in progress these will be available at the temporary track in the coming weeks. Keep an eye out for our first open day, no date as yet but expect it soon.
