RIP Denis 😢

The death has occurred of

Denis (Ding) DOHERTY

DOHERTY, 7th September 2025, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, DENIS (DING), beloved husband of Roisin, devoted father of Gavin, Conor and Sean, dear son of Teresa and the late Denis, cherished brother of Paddy, Louis, Margaret, Fiona, Aine and Caitriona, devoted uncle to all his nieces and nephews, caring brother-in-law to all his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and a dear son-in-law of the late James and Sally Devine. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by his wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Denis will be reposing at his home, 93 Marlborough Road on Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th September from 12:00noon to 9:00pm.

House private today (Monday 8th September).

Funeral leaving his home on Thursday 11th September at 9:20am to St. Eugene’s Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.
