From tomorrow (1st July 2026) drivers of light commercial vehicles (LCVs) between 2.5 & 3.5 tonnes must comply with EU drivers' hours and rest periods if operating across EU borders.

All LCVs affected within the new regulations must also ensure that these vehicles are fitted with a smart tachograph to record all driver activities and rest periods.

This affects any LCV even if journeys are occasional, vehicles only cross the threshold when carrying loads, or when trailers bring your vehicle in to scope.

It is key to ensure that your operators and drivers are aware of the new laws in place, trained on processes and have the necessary equipment before carrying out international journeys from this date.

We’re delighted to share that we’ve won a WEBFLEET award in recognition of our strong performance in Advanced Trailer Solutions, driven by the deployment of the WEBFLEET LINK350 into some of our customers trailer fleets.

The LINK350 is helping fleets unlock greater visibility across their trailer assets by enabling reliable trailer tracking, improved utilisation insights, and accurate monitoring of trailer movement and status — even when trailers are unpowered. This gives operators the clarity they need to reduce asset downtime, optimise planning, and improve overall efficiency.

In addition, the integration of Electronic Braking Performance Monitoring Systems (EBPMS) delivers a significant advantage for customers. By providing continuous visibility into braking performance and system health, fleets can move from reactive to proactive maintenance, supporting improved safety, reduced roadside breakdowns, and better compliance — while keeping trailers on the road and operating at their best.

This recognition reflects the consistent demand we’re seeing from fleets and our ability to translate technology into tangible operational benefits, helping customers gain end-to-end visibility, improved safety, and stronger control of their trailer operations.

A huge thank you to WEBFLEET, our fantastic team, and our customers for their continued trust and collaboration. We’re excited to build on this momentum and continue delivering solutions that make a real difference to fleet performance.
