From P38 on the grid to P13 overall after three races.

A fantastic performance from the legendary Aston Martin V8 RHAM/1, affectionately known as The Muncher, at this year’s Le Mans Classic.

Competing against an incredibly strong field, the team has steadily worked its way through the order with a faultless drive, proving once again what this remarkable car is capable of nearly 50 years after it first raced at Le Mans.

After countless hours of skilled metalwork and careful restoration, this Aston Martin DB5 has reached another significant milestone, with its aluminium body panels now back on the car.

The next stage is the all-important pre-fit, where every panel, gap and line is meticulously adjusted before final preparation for paint. It’s a painstaking process, but one that’s essential to achieving the fit and finish these iconic cars deserve.

Progress like this is always rewarding to see, and we look forward to sharing more of the journey as this DB5 moves ever closer to completion.

One of the things we enjoy most about Peak Classic is seeing familiar faces return year after year.

This Aston Martin DB12 joined us on last year’s tour and we’re delighted that both car and owners will be back again for Peak Classic 2026.

With just days to go until we arrive at Grantley Hall, the excitement is building for another fantastic week of driving, great company and, of course, some very special Aston Martins.

Matt is currently reassembling this Aston Martin DB4 Vantage, finished in Black Pearl. With the paintwork complete, attention now turns to the painstaking process of installing the wiring, controls, trim and mechanical components that will transform this beautifully restored shell into a finished car.

The details may not always be seen, but they make all the difference.
