Nice ride out on a 2024 961SP.
The owner of this bike has started doing a few modifications....one being to bring the foot pegs and controls in closer to the engine. It's a work in progress, but straight away it feels more tucked in. Next up is a redesign of the foot hangers themselves.....I'm certainly staying tuned to see what he does next 😎

Finish the 2024 961SP service, road test and clean.

Final checks and clean on the 2016 916SF.

Refit tank and new rh megaphone to the Dominator Donington, road test, clean and sign off.

Jump back on the 2010 961 Sport, get ready to road test tomorrow.

Late Solihull 961 owners:

To try and give you guys some peace of mind with regards oil leaks from the starter motor O ring, as found on later 961's (I'm not sure of the introduction of these, but this is from a 2024 bike), should a leak return after I've addressed it, I will cover labour costs involved for a period of two years from the original invoice, for me to pull it apart and reseal it. I just ask that you cover the costs for gaskets etc.

I cant do much about the design, apart from replace the starter motor, so I have to work with what I've got....but I'm confident in my workmanship, and I want to instil that confidence further into you guys.

I'm also paying keen attention to the mounting fixings, as on this design these have no form of positive sealing, which I'm surprised wasnt taken into consideration when the previous gasket was disbanded.
