Its been a busy start to the year in the workshop but not so busy on Facebook 😅

There’s been a variety of work coming in and out the door, here’s just some of the jobs that’s been carried out this year.

Yesterdays job!!

This stunning BMW M4 competition came in for a subtle change of appearance, the customer asked for the car to be fitted with Eibach lowering springs.
Nothing to drastic but a nice 20mm drop in ride height to give the car the sporty stance it should have 👌🏻

A variety of work has been coming through doors the past few weeks ranging from MOT repairs to servicing but also modifications!

This VW polo gti came in for a few tasty upgrades 👌🏻

First thing that was fitted to the car was some Vogtland lowering springs.
After that a Gravity downpipe was fitted off the turbo followed by a full Scorpion exhaust system. The sound from the exhaust is nice, smooth and not stupidly loud that it will annoy the neighbours.
Finishing off the customer got some 2forge ZF1 wheels wrapped in uniroyal rainsport 5 tyres 🛞

If deadpool was to have a modified focus it would be this one 👇🏻

The customer got in touch saying the car was in limp mode and not running right so they brought it over to be diagnosed.

Starting with reading the fault codes there were codes related to the throttle body, after testing the wiring from the pcm to throttle body the wiring was ok. Opening up the throttle body there was visible damage inside.

A smoke test was also carried out on the intake side of the engine revelling a couple of leaks, one a vacuum pipe and another coming from the oil breather.

Just a case of waiting for the parts and getting another customer back on the road 🙌🏻

Today’s job was…

2011 Audi Q5 in for a cambelt and water pump replacement.
Following manufacturer procedures and specifications the job was carried out to high standards.

⚡️Todays job was repairing the electrics to a tow bar socket ⚡️

The person who previously fitted the electrics thought it was a good idea to run a wire underneath the vehicle cable tied to the brake lines 😬 multiple breaks in the wire caused the trailer socket to not function.

An ignition feed taken from within the rear fuse box to the trailer sockets has fixed the problem and now it’s all working as it should 👍🏻

Also investigated a parking sensor fault which will be repaired in the future.
