Hello All,

What a great Crick Show 2026! It was an absolute pleasure catching up with existing customers and also meeting so many new faces over the weekend. We really appreciate all the kind words and support, and we look forward to fulfilling the work for all the new customers we met at the show.

The heat was an absolute killer, but we all came away with a good tan! 😂

We’ll be getting back to everyone over the week while we catch up on enquiries, so please bear with us while we work through everything.

Opposite our stand, CRT were hosting a competition for the best looking dog… and the winner was Tilly!!!

We fitted Martin’s canopy the week before the show. Tilly’s dad! Thought we’d share the project along with some cute pictures of Tilly 😀

🚤 Cruiser Stern Pram – Traditional Style 🚤

We had the pleasure of fitting this Cruiser Stern Pram Cover in black acrylic at Dunchurch Pools Marina last week — and even managed to get it installed while the sun was shining.

This cover was designed to the customer’s specific requirements, opting for a more traditional layout with turn-buttoned side panels and a separate wind surround. While many customers are now moving towards more modern zip-out configurations, it’s always nice to build and fit a classic design that stays true to the traditional narrowboat style.

As with all of our covers, it was carefully manufactured to ensure the right fit, clean lines, and long-term durability.

🚤 Cruiser Stern Pram – Black with Red Trim 🚤

Here’s a lovely example of a Cruiser Stern Pram that we recently had the pleasure of fitting outside our office at Braunston Marina.

This canopy was manufactured in black acrylic canvas with a red trim, creating a sharp, clean contrast that really stands out against the lines of the boat.

The design features fully zipped-out side panels, along with two vertical zips running down to the floor to create a practical and easy-access doorway. This layout is becoming increasingly popular compared to the more traditional turn-button side panels, offering greater flexibility, cleaner lines, and improved day-to-day usability.

As with all of our covers, this pram was built with careful attention to fit, tension, and finish — ensuring it not only looks right but performs exactly as intended.

🚤 Cruiser Stern Pram, Framed Cratch & Top Boxes 🚤

Here we have a beautifully finished set of covers for the boat Miss Vida, including a Cruiser Stern Pram Cover, Front Framed Cratch Cover, and matching top boxes.

All covers were fully designed in CAD and signed off by the customer prior to production, ensuring every detail was agreed and visualised before manufacture. The covers were handcrafted in Taupe Sunbrella Plus and supported by a 25 mm stainless steel framework, giving a clean, strong, and long-lasting finish.

This project was for Paul, who kindly took the time to share his experience of working with us by leaving a 5-star review — which you can see in the final image.

Projects like this are a great example of how CAD-led design combined with quality materials results in a canopy system that not only looks right but performs exactly as intended.

🚤 Cruiser Stern Cover – CAD Designed 🚤

Here we have a smartly finished Cruiser Stern Cover, fully designed in CAD from the outset. Using a combination of detailed measuring data and 3D scanning, we created a realistic, to-scale 3D model for the customer to review and approve prior to manufacture.

This digital design stage allows the customer to clearly visualise how the cover will look on their boat before it is manufactured, while also giving full flexibility to adjust window shapes, zip positions, and the overall layout until everything is exactly right. This approach removes uncertainty and ensures confidence in the final design.

Once the CAD model was signed off, the design was brought to life using our proven build methods, with close attention to fit, tension, and overall finish.

This particular cover was handcrafted in Admiral Navy acrylic canvas — a durable, marine-grade fabric that offers excellent weather protection while maintaining its shape and appearance over time.
