I often use the analogy of repairing cars is like constructing a house correctly. Every stage MUST be completed to the highest standards. If a house is constructed using the finest products but the foundations aren't laid correctly then everything else is absolutely meaningless.

From the strip and refit to surface preparation, right the way through to the final paint application we pursue excellence at every stage of the repair process. The hidden, unseen details are what makes a high quality repair.

One of the crazy statistics in running a bodyshop is the shear amount of masking tape we use.

What would your guess be?

In a 12 month period we use 16,000 metres, 10 miles worth of tape, that's enough to stretch from Darwen to Bury!

Masking is a vital process in repainting a car. Poor strip down and masking can lead to unwanted paint overspray. We're are extremely particular on how we complete our repairs and perfection is always our goal.

In the heat of the moment it's very ready to forget to acquire some very important information.

Here's a helpful list-

📝 name, contact number of any other drivers involved.
📝 name, contact information of any eyewitnesses.
📝 a written admittance of fault from the other driver if they were clearly the ones who caused the accident. A video worth verbal admittance would be sufficient on many occasions.

📷 images of the registration number of the other vehicle(s) involved.
📷 images of the drivers of the other vehicle(s)
📷 images of the damage to all vehicles.
📷 images of the location of the incident.

🎥 make sure to download any dashcam footage so it's saved and backed up before it's over written.
🎥 if you can obtain any cctv or ring doorbell footage of the accident it will greatly help your defence if you wasnt at fault.
