🛞 TYRE TIP: HOW OLD ARE YOUR TYRES?

Did you know your tyres have an age as well as a tread depth?

🚘 Tyres can deteriorate over time, even if they don't appear heavily worn. Age, storage conditions, temperature and use can all affect the condition of the rubber.

An older tyre may still have plenty of tread but could show signs of ageing such as cracks, hardening or other deterioration.

💡 Our tip: Check the age and condition of your tyres regularly, and if you're unsure whether they're still suitable for the road, get them professionally inspected.

Your tyres may look fine — but do you know how old they are?

It's been a busy one this week! Take a look at what we have been up to! 👇

✅ VW Caddy brought to us for a Cambelt Replacement and to investigate an Engine Warning Light. Diagnosed and replaced the Glow Plugs to fix!
✅ VW Tiguan in for an MOT, Full Service and Cambelt Change. Carried out using Castrol GTX Engine Oil.
✅ Skoda Superb in showing an Engine Warning light, also found to require a new set of Glow Plugs and a Coolant Pump.
✅ SEAT Arona FR with a Small Service, using Castrol EDGE Oil.
✅ Audi A1 with a Small Service and Brake Fluid Change, with Castrol EDGE Oil.
✅ SEAT Arona also having a Small Service (Castrol EDGE) + Brake Fluid Change.
✅ Audi Q5 S-Line experiencing a loss of Coolant, which was found to be leaking from the Water Pump. Replaced along with the Timing Belt!
