We have new pricing for our S63 and S58 Fire rings. We have changed the material spec from stainless steel, to a high grade tool steel so we can reduce the cost. These are the best value rings on the market while still maintaining the tolerances and quality of the ring.

A fire ring is a vital component in an engine block, designed to seal the combustion chamber and prevent any leakage of gas or fluids. It is typically made of a strong material such as stainless steel, and is placed between the cylinder head and the engine block to create a tight seal.

In simpler terms, a fire ring acts as a barrier, ensuring that the combustion process inside the engine is contained and efficient.
Without a properly functioning fire ring, there is a risk of gas or fluid leakage, which can lead to decreased engine pertormance and even potential damage.

With improved sealing and durability, engines with fire rings can handle significantly higher boost pressures. This allows for greater horsepower and boost pressure without compromising engine reliability.

S58 Exhaust Vanos delete for our shop G82. Having built it prepped for a single turbo,we discovered the exhaust Vanos was moving under load at higher boost levels. With stage 2 cams fitted this also adds to the issue.

We developed a lock kit for the exhaust Vanos hub this week to resolve the issue and restore the missing power. Available now on our website with a 1/2 day turnaround to have this done.

Also moved to .tuning to make the most of their integrated Reflex control using MHD+

Our workshop is now fully booked until the end of January 2024 along with any further Vanos replacements.

Parts delays have been and are an issue, now some parts are trickling through, the priority is to concentrate on those and all work currently booked.

E46 M3 for our complete vanos replacement service. Fully reconditioned unit, new timing chain and guide and a new BMW solenoid pack.

This car was suffering the usual S54 vanos issues, low rpm hesitation and noise between 2/3k rpm.
