Another day and another timing belt failure. This one a VW 1.6 TDI CR. Appears that the tensioner has failed where the debri then shredded part of the belt. This one caused cam damage and smashed several rockers. All inspected and fixed now back on the road for another happy customer. GET THOSE TIMING BELTS REPLACED AT THE CORRECT INTERVAL TIMES OR RISK SPENDING THOUSANDS £’s ⚙️🧰👨🏽‍🔧

Using the smoke leak detecter to quickly pinpoint a turbo boost leak on this Vauxhall Insignia. New pipe replaced and back on the road⚙️🧰👨🏽‍🔧

Range Rover Evoques. If you have worked on these then you know how difficult the driveshaft joints can be to split from the hub. This one required a new coil spring so rather than messing around getting hit in and braying the joint end pointlessly. We decided to remove it this way🤣🤷🏽‍♂️ Got the job done and customer back on the road👨🏽‍🔧⚙️🧰

More wet timing belt jobs in. Always removing the sump for inspection of any debri and material and replacing snd thoroughly cleaning strainers etc. wet belts can be found in many modern vehicles including Ford / Citroen / Peugeot / Vauxhall / Honda etc🧰👨🏽‍🔧⚙️
