Improvise, adapt & overcome🤔🤣 Ridiculous location for the oil filter which spills out all over the subframe and bottom arm making things messy.

Lovely little Lotus Elan in this morning for some yearly maintenance to include engine oil & filter change, gearbox oil dropped & renewed + an MOT. All passed and returned to the customer who will now be putting her back away til spring time. We can service, maintain and repair all make models and ages. Keep up to date with your servicing! It is not a gimmick. Get out of the mindset of thinking your saving a few quid by skipping a service🫣

Even more so some of the modern engines fitted with wet belts. If you drive a Ford EcoBoost, Transit, Honda, Vauxhall, Citroën or Peugeot, your vehicle is at RISK if you do not maintain it correctly. These engines are notorious for wet belt failures when not serviced correctly and on time.

Cars fitted with wet timing belts are not the problem. It is the lack of maintenance or use of incorrect spec / cheap oil that causes the problem. Don't let one missed service cost you your car.

Customers work vehicle in this week. Ford Transit just in for a routine service. This one is fitted with the 2,0 ecoblue engine which we have previously done a wet timing belt replacement on. The customer keeps on top of the service schedule on this snd services it every 10k miles religiously. Also using Ford genuine service bits and the correct grade oil.
