NOTICE TO ALL CUSTOMERS .

Daryl has just came off on paternity leave ( 2 to 3 weeks ) and Blyth has just went off on holiday for two weeks , this just leaves Greg and Curtis at the garage so please be patient and understand that some jobs may get moved and larger jobs will have to wait until myself (Daryl) returns from paternity leave .

If I can ask that only essential messages or calls come to me during this time . Please call garage for all day to day enquiries or updates . Thanks .

We had hoped to be posting a nice picture of our freshly pressure washed yard all nice and tidy but unfortunately the weather and the work load has been against us . We are only having the Thursday , Friday and Sundays off both weeks due to extreme work load which we appreciate as ever ! While everyone else is sitting with their feet up the abbey garage boys are keeping the wheels turning as always 💪🏼 thank you all again for your continued support. Well it’s that time of year again ! Unfortunately this years Christmas miracle was just getting home for 5 o’clock 😂.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers past and present for supporting us year in year out. We would also like to thank you all for your patience and understanding in these extremely challenging times since east port garage closed it really has been tricky trying to keep on top of everything but your support and gratitude mean more than you know !

As per usual we are working through and only closing Wednesday and Thursday but with just over 40 customer vehicles in our custody awaiting repair we ask you to please only call or come down to the garage if it is an emergency.

You’ve probably heard about the Ford
“ ECO BOOM “ engines with their wet belts but have you ever seen them ? Here we have pictured both a 1.0 petrol engine and a 2.0 diesel . We have seen these fail at as little as 30k but have also seen some well serviced ones gettin to 90k with minor blockages in oil pickup . What happens is over time the belt delaminates and these particles block the oil pickup causing oil pressure issues and if not caught in time mass engine failure. It’s a very length and expensive job but definitely cheaper than a replacement car or engine. We have all the specialist tools and equipment to carry out this job to “ by the book “ specifications .
