We're a small but busy local garage supporting the local community with their vehicle repair and servicing needs since the 1920s.

We pride ourselves on delivering a quality service and are looking for a well-trained Motor Vehicle Technician to undertake a range of vehicle servicing duties including MOT testing, diagnosing faults and undertaking mechanical repairs and maintenance.

Our Technicians are the heart of our business and as such, we support ongoing CPD training and access to diagnostic tools. In the past 18 months, our team has qualified in EV/Hybrid repair and ADAS calibration. We work on a range of vehicles and various repair work including routine servicing and maintenance up to wet belt, gearbox and clutch replacements.

Not already an MOT Tester? If you have the relevant experience, we're willing to put someone through an MOT course.

IMPORTANT

There is a road closure at the corner between the top of Bridge Street, Fore Street and access to Bridge Street from the Square for two weeks starting Monday 8 September.

We are still open... to access us:

- From Culmstock/Hemyock direction: no change (just head in over the Bridge and you can reach the Garage)
- From Willand direction, coming into Uffculme on the Uffculme Road, turn right down Coldharbour, continue over the river then turn left at Bullmore Cottages towards Uffculme, continue, left at the Three Elms and left at the end into Bridge Street just after the cemetery
- From J27, don't enter via Chapel Hill or Clay Lane or the other lanes off the A38 as they all require access via Fore Street to Bridge Street, which will be closed. The best option is to turn onto the B3181 towards Willand (signposted to Cullompton) and turn left down Bridwell Avenue, left onto Uffculme Road and then right down Coldharbour as above
- From Wellington direction, the official reroute is via Culmstock into Uffculme

Make sure your air conditioning is working. No-one wants to be stuck in a hot car with no breeze. We can re-gas your car’s air conditioning to keep you cool.

It’s always sensible to check your lights, fluid levels (oil, coolant etc) and tyres before heading off on a long journey (don’t forget to check the spare tyre too!).
