FORD FRIDAY or is it FRIYAY!?

This Ford Raptor had a brush with the garage doorway as the owner was reversing out. These trims are finished in a Matt-Satin Clearcoat.

We collected, repaired and delivered the truck back to the owner who was extremely happy with our repair and service.

Renault Captur boot lid and bumper corner repair.
The edge of the boot lid had been bent up quite badly and was really out of line. A slight scuff to the bumper corner too.

Mipa P 12 light putty
Mipa P 118 Ultra light putty
Mipa 1k Epoxy Primer for bare metal spots
Mipa Haftpromoter for plastic bumper corner
Mipa 4+1 High build primer
Mipa WBC Blending Base
Mipa WBC (Base coat)
Mipa CX2 Clearcoat with HS25 hardener.

Skoda Yeti upper front bumper repair.
All the damage area's were feathered out and smoothed to P400 grit sand scratch. The remainder was keyed with red scotch and prep paste.

A quick coat of plastic adhesion promoter and then I applied a good coat of wet-on-wet primer and allowed that to dry (15 mins). Then straight over with the water based colour match and finally finished with 1.5 coats of clear.

This came out super clean and didn't require de-nibbing and polishing at all.

Cheeky little post for you all. We recently completed this 2012 front bumper corner repair with a blend into the wing.

This one came with a challenge though! The car's had a hard life with a lot of poor previous repairs over the years. We had to find a good enough colour match to use for the repair. We then had to polish up the side and bonnet of the vehicle to attempt to bring up the gloss levels to match our repair!

It's been a labour of love, but we got there eventually!

BMW 1 series in for a rear bumper Scuff and slight dent on the quarter panel. This customer visited another bodyshop prior to coming to us and were quoted a whooping £3500 to fix this minor damage! How much would you expect to pay for a repair like this?

VW Polo that we've had in for a quarter panel repair. 70% of the body line was dented. We used our dent pulling tower to initially glue pull and 'rough out' the dent. Then finish the metal pulling with our Power-tec weld & slide.

Painted with throughout
Mipa 4+1 High build primer
Mipa WBC (C9X Darker Shade)
Mipa CX2 Clear coat

Cut and polished with .uk EvoX Heavy and Fine cut compounds.

The results speak for themselves!
