Morris Minor Splitscreen Saloon . 1955.

Some before and after photos.

Although the car was sold as an ongoing project it was presented in the very best condition .

It had a superb rust free original bodyshell .

The interior was original and in great condition.

A new carpet set was all it required to finish off that area.

It even started, drove and stopped as a good Morris Minor saloon should.

It was a very easy project to finish.😀

Albert the Morris Minor Traveller.

More work carried out on the car.

A custom built metal storage shelf was made and fitted behind the rear seat for Albert to partake in carrying extra items on camping trips.

The custom built fuel tank that head previously been fitted behind the front seats was removed.

An original type new tank was then fitted in the rear of the car.

The filler pipework was then made up and fitted.

A new fuel feed to the engine was constructed.

A new sender unit fitted and wired up.

Seat belts were then fitted to the rear seats.

After many other small jobs here and there Albert was then ready to travel the roads again.
