It is incredibly hard to become a driving instructor. These figures speak for themselves. They don’t teach you to be a part counsellor either. We are not supposed to discuss anything but driving. Your thoughts ?

Beth Earle you smashed it. Your driving test, not the car. If only that pesky 30mph sign hadn’t been in the way you would have a clean sheet. Joking aside, many congratulations with just 1 teeny weeny slow to slow fault. You put in the
effort and got the result. Happy travels.

Eryn Price parked the car and just handed her licence to the examiner Sue. Sue got the giggles as she hadn’t announced the pass yet. ‘You are presumptuous, but I’m happy to say you’ve passed.’ Many congratulations Eryn! Thank you to your parents too for taking you out. It all helps. Happy safe driving. See you on the road.

Such a busy month already. Shout out to Aiden Maunders for a pass in August. And this week to Megan Avon. The rain was treacherous and examiners were so stuck in traffic they came back 20 mins late. Roll on the calmer days with ALL roads in Tunbridge Wells open. Congratulations guys. Very well deserved.

Too true :

Driving instructors spend so much time helping others achieve their goals that it’s easy to overlook their own achievements.

Every pupil who passes their test, every nervous learner who gains confidence and every safe driver you help create is something to be proud of.

When work feels busy, take a moment to reflect on how far you’ve come and the difference you make every single day.

Success isn’t only measured by test passes. It’s measured by the lives you help change along the way.

After careful consideration I’ve decided not to publish photos of pupils that pass. Lots of reasons I won’t go into but here’s a shout out to Charlotte Fraser (sadly no relation as she’s lovely girl) who passed her test last week first time with very few driving faults. Very proud of you well done. Happy travels and stay safe.

Unsure I agree. But then again The Sun wrote it, so it must be true.

Huge shout out Will Dodsworth for passing his test last week. We had a giggle along the way. I admire you for switching so effectively between auto and manual and never muddling them up. Pure skill. Enjoy the summer freedom. Stay safe.
UPDATE ; how could I forget that we couldn’t just drive home to celebrate. An unfortunate lady had fallen and landed on her face outside the test centre. Covered in blood poor woman. So we drove her home first, just a little detour. As my driving motto stands, ‘expect the unexpected.’

The heat didn’t phase Varun Varghese yesterday. Well done for passing your test. Happy travels.
