So this has been a bit of a head scratcher, I’m working my way through the complex multiple dimensional shapes and transitions from curves to flats. Ultimately it will be hidden behind a mesh grille but I want to give the intercoolers a nice air feed and for it to look good. Lots to figure out (and the other side to do) but it’s getting there. Gordon’s mk2 golf is continuing to get the / GDFAutofab treatment. The tubular rear subframe has been measured, checked and measured again to insure the correct fitment, solid tubular mounts created within the chassis members and turret mounts for the rear shocks installed using the jigs taken from the donor mx5.
