I would like to ‘Thank’ Bobs Tyres and in Particular young ‘Liam’ for fixing a Puncture straight away on my Van.
I had driven down from the West Midlands to deliver Glass to a nearby Business, knowing I had a slow leak.
Lucky for me I spotted Bobs Tyres on the same Ind Est, and so Popped in to ask if they could help me out.
They certainly did that!

Apprentice Motor Vehicle Technician

Full Time Motor Vehicle Technician / MOT tester required immediately for our busy workshops in Crewkerne.
Minimum Level 3 industry recognised Qualification in motor vehicle repair.
Minimum 4 years, full time experience.

MOT qualification is desired but for the right candidate training could be provided.

£30k - £34.5k per year, depending on experience, skill and work ethic.

The right candidate will have an excellent work ethic and understand the need for quality yet efficient vehicle repairs and MOT testing. Good diagnostic skills and attention to detail are vital. This position requires a person that can blend in well with an already established team and be able to deal with customers in a polite and professional manner in keeping with our already excellent customer care ethos.

Despite the law stating that your tread depth should not be lower than 1.6mm, we recommend that you change at 3mm. Here’s why:
🚗 The tyre will have much better water clearance.
🚗 Your stopping distance is halved.
