It's official, after a lengthy period of time feeling disinfranchised with the DVSA, and their heading, my 22 years of teaching has come to an end, and I am now enjoying a different career path and opportunity.
My ADI badge has now expired, and I have no intention of renewing it, funding a failing directionless organisation more interested in money than road safety. My passion of keeping the roads safe remains, and always will, I just do not agree with many choices the DVSA make, and they way they blame others for their failings. Hopefully one day they will make positive changes within the industry to benefit ex colleagues and road users, preferably before a mass exodus or rtc spikes.
I would like to thank all my previous clients, whether it be the learners, the licence holders, the fleet clients, the PDI's, the ADI's, the Trainers for partaking in all aspects of my role. I have enjoyed our training sessions, watching you all progress and succeed in overcoming a wide range of personal challenges and achieving your goals.
I have had, and am thankful for, the opportunity to meet a wide range of people as well as making some awesome friends and colleagues, and will miss this side of the job.
The time has come to focus on whats important in my life and start living life to the full. I've no regrets on the past, its made me who I am today, and I will look forward to a happier, healthier, and more positive future.
I wish everyone well. Driver Driving Risk Solutions is no more...
