Turns out having a mate who’s good on the tools actually comes in handy 😂🔨

We knocked up the new mezzanine storage area in just over 2 hours. This is where all the GT Clean marketing materials, stock and the random bits and bobs will finally have a proper home instead of cluttering up the workshop.

One more step closer to opening the studio. 💙

Are BMW M Competition wheels the hardest wheels to clean? 🤔

The key isn’t the brush you use, it’s the preparation. The pre-wash is where most of the work is done, removing as much dirt and grit as possible before any contact is made with the wheel. Less dirt touching the surface means less chance of inflicting scratches.

I’ve also started using microfibre cloths for the wheel faces. They mould into all the tight contours, and more importantly, I can actually see when they’re holding dirt and swap them out immediately. It’s a small change that’s made a big difference in how safely I clean intricate wheels.

This is where the vision starts becoming reality.

This video was all about clearing, cleaning and me falling through the roof 🤣🤣 Getting the studio one step closer to opening. It’s been great having people stop by to share ideas, lend a hand and help shape the final vision.

Even my 4 year old godson wanted to get involved. 💙 Every little bit of progress gets us closer, and I can’t wait to welcome you all through the doors.

Washing a car in extreme heat isn’t about working faster, it’s about working smarter.

When temperatures rise, chemicals and water can dry on the paint within seconds, increasing the risk of water spots, staining and unnecessary marring.

In this video, I talk through how I safely wash vehicles in hot conditions by working panel by panel, managing dwell times and adapting the process to the weather.

The right technique matters just as much as the products.

I hit record, sat down, and just spoke.

No script. No plan. Just thoughts that have been sitting in my head for a while.

A few years ago, having my own unit was nothing more than an idea. Back then I was still in employment, dreaming about what GT Clean could become and wondering if I’d ever get there. Two and a half years later, after the long days, sleepless nights, setbacks, wins, and countless hours behind the scenes, I’m finally sitting in that very unit.

It’s easy to move straight onto the next goal, but sometimes you need to stop and reflect on how far you’ve come.

This video is a message to my clients who have supported me, to my younger self who hoped this day would come, and to my future self as a reminder of where it all started.

Talking freely on camera like this is uncomfortable, but sometimes the most honest conversations are the ones that aren’t rehearsed.

Today, I’m holding the keys to our very first unit 😅

Honestly, it still doesn’t feel real.

When I look around this place, I don’t just see four walls and a roof. I see the early mornings, late nights, missed opportunities, setbacks, risks, lessons, and all the moments where quitting would’ve been easier than carrying on.

This unit isn’t the finish line. It’s the next chapter.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be turning this empty space into something special. A secure home for GT Clean. A place where clients can leave their cars with confidence. A place for paint correction, ceramic coatings, deep cleans, content creation and everything we’ve dreamed of building over the last few years.

The truth is, none of this happens without you.

Every booking. Every share. Every recommendation. Every comment. Every person who has trusted us with their vehicle.

You might think it was just a simple gesture of support, but all those small moments have helped build this.

There’s still a lot of work to do, and we’re only just getting started, but today is one of those days where I have to stop, look around and appreciate how far GT Clean has come.

Apparently a lot of you enjoyed seeing my face yesterday... so I thought I’d introduce myself properly 😅

I’m Sam, owner of GT Clean. I’m the guy behind the camera, behind the pressure washer, behind the late night editing sessions, and occasionally behind a pair of Meta glasses talking to himself in a car park.

For the last few years I’ve been helping people across Crawley, Redhill, Surrey and Sussex keep their cars looking their best, from daily drivers to supercars, private jets and everything in between.
