Sorry to say it's been a while since we last posted. 2024 has been a tester year for Testec Automotive & EV, and 2025 looks promising ☺️
We've now purchased a battery removal table and 2nd ramp " yet to be fitted"
So we are pleased to say we can now cater for minor battery repairs(fuses), drive unit repairs & PTC replacement on Tesla vehicles, amongst others.
We'd like to thank everyone who used us in the last 12 months and look forward to the future and the team growing.

It's been a while since our last post.
We are pleased to say slowly, but surely the Testec name is getting out into the wider audience and gaining traction. This is largely due to the help of the teams at , & , and we thank you for the support 😊.
This past month has seen an array of different jobs come through the doors. From Minor Services, Tyres, EML lights, EV diagnosis, and repair also upgrades, to name a few.
Please remember we can offer a wide range of services, including aircon re-gas, tyres, wheel alignment, and much more.

Another productive week here at Testec HQ with several vehicles coming through the doors.
We had full service on a Nissan with Aircon issue, resulting in a replacement condenser
Another vehicle was bought to us with an ongoing engine running issue, which we got to the bottom of and finally resolved for the customer.
A replacement vacuum pump valve and positioning the O2 sensor in the correct order. Yes, they were back to front 😳
A Tesla for diagnosis for a noise from suspension area, rear under tray due to damage, and 4 wheel alignment.
Multiple vehicles for tyres.
Peugeot for a clutch.
Citroen for a wheel bearing
And final a little Renault with an ongoing power steering issue.
Unfortunately, this had been diagnosed as a replacement steering module and was bought to us for a second opinion.
We were quick to identify a broken earth wire for the steering motor assembly. This has been repaired and tested, so there is no need for unnecessary parts fitment.
We specialise and enjoy getting involved
In-depth mechanical & electrical diagnosis, so please keep us in mind when others are finding it difficult to find the issue.
We also carry out general servicing and maintenance.
We can service & regas your vehicles air con systems in-house with our brand new machines that can cater for both R134A & R1234YF gases. Regas for R134A is £45 plus vat R1234YF £95 plus vat.
So beat rush and be prepared for the spring that's around the corner.

The beginning of 2024 has been a very positive start here at Testec, with a number of different jobs coming through the doors.
From tyre pressure sensor issues to timing chain replacements.
Diagnostics out on the road when the vehicle is unable to be driven onsite.
We thank all our customers so far for using us this year, and hope we may continue to support everyone with their motoring needs.
Please remember we can do local mobile requests for diagnostics and estimates
And have a fully operational workshop for larger jobs.
We are also fully electric vehicle trained and can support this area of the industry
