We did not expect this to happen on our driving lesson... This is what happened after!

Sometimes people don't want to do anything that they would later on come to regret. Especially those of us with ADHD. We can get so fixated on doing something that we will do whatever it takes to get it done. I see this as a superpower! But with all superpowers comes weaknesses, and living with ADHD myself I know all too well how it can work against me. When something doesn't go my way the bad thoughts are relentless, and it's really hard to not let those bad thoughts tempt me into saying or doing something potentially catastrophic.

But there are ways out, and kindness is one of the best ways to change the thoughts I think and the way I feel. Whether that be me being kind to myself, being kind to others or someone being kind to me. Show someone you love or someone you don't even know a random act of kindness today, you never know it may change their / your life!!

We didn't expect this to happen on our driving lesson...

I'm not just a driving instructor. I help people, and if I see someone really in need I WILL help them! We never know what others are going through, so let's just be kind especially to those who really need it!

I can't share who I helped here as she wanted to remain anonymous, which is completely understandable. But what I can share is she has ADHD (which she mentioned when I chatted to her was a reason why she was late for her train), and is wanting to start driving lessons again after an injury. I mean how amazing is that and what are the odds. I have ADHD and teach people how to drive! As Tony Robbins has said countless times, you'll never know how far one act of kindness will go. I want to keep finding out!

What an amazing summer fayre at my daughters' school St Francis Assisi Catholic Primary School!

We had such an amazing time and learnt so much about how to be even better next time.

Congratulations to Milo who won our top prize by coming 1st in our driving skills competition, completing it in 6.8 seconds. Did it even faster than me! And a Congratulations too to Keiran who came second with a time of 7.6 seconds. It came down to a sudden death shoot out right at the end. And Kieran you were a great sport congratulating Milo the way you did!

A HUGE thank you to my new PA Lizzie who helped bring my stall together. If it wasn't for you I wouldn't have had half the stuff we managed to put out for everyone at the fayre. Thank you also to Luke who came along to help me. Had almost as much fun at the fayre as we do on lessons!

And finally thank you to Rachel who invited me to promote my business at the fayre. I'm so grateful we met doing RCIA last year and if it wasn't for you I wouldn't have had this opportunity. Thank you so much!!

Driving Lessons with Tourettes

Learning to drive is hard at the best of times, especially to begin with. And Kayleigh has even more to deal with, having been diagnosed with tourettes when she was 13. Every day is a different challenge for her. Yes, she has learnt to live with the condition, and yes she sees the funny / positive side of things most of the time. But there are times every day when she has to really battle, and really fight to gain control back. Most of the time she isn't in control of her condition, and she has to surrender to it and not fight it.

Kayleigh you are absolutely INCREDIBLE! You have taught me so much over the last few months and am so inspired by how you live life. Thank you for being who you are and never stop being you!

We're all ready for the St Francis of Assisi Catholic Primary School Summer Fayre in Crawley, West Sussex!

Come along for an amazing afternoon full of sun, games, bouncy castles, tasty food, amazing businesses sharing what they ca. offer the local community and just an amazingly fun time!!

We'll be there showing you around the car, what we can do to help you on your way to getting your drivers licence and an amazingly cool prize if you get round our remote control car obstacle course the fastest!! Bring your £1 coins to have as many goes as you like!! We've also got loads of sweets and water to keep you sugared and hydrated up!!

Thank you so much to the St Francis PFA for organising and for giving us this opportunity. We are so grateful and you are all truly INCREDIBLE!! 🙏❤️🥳🚘

Wow wow wow wow wow! Natalie, you did it! And at the Crawley Driving Test Centre, AMAZING! You've worked so hard to get to today, and after failing your driving test a few times over the last few years you have done it! I am so so happy for you, and now you get that freedom that you deserve so so much! After having a slow steam engine truck near Pease Pottage services, that you needed to navigate last week. Then today at exactly the same point at the end of your driving test, you had a four wheeled pedal wagon towing a piano to deal with. If that's not a test from God then I don't know what is! You learnt your lesson last week with the steam engine, and dealt with the joyful 4 wheeled piano towing wagon amazingly today!! Thank you so much for all the fun and memories over the last few years. I'm really looking forward to seeing how driving changes your life, because it will! Take care out there and if you need anything you know where I'm at! 😃🙏🥳🚘
