🍂 A reminder as we start to move into autumn...

Today's wet weather is a reminder that the driving conditions we've enjoyed over the summer won't be around forever.

As the seasons change, roads can become more challenging with rain, standing water, fallen leaves and reduced visibility, particularly during early mornings and evenings.

A few simple checks and adjustments can help keep everyone safe:

✅ Leave a little more space between vehicles
✅ Check tyres, lights and windscreen wipers are in good condition
✅ Allow extra time for journeys when conditions are poor
✅ Drive to the conditions, not just the speed limit
✅ Use your headlights when visibility is reduced. Don't rely solely on daytime running lights, as these may not illuminate your rear lights.

While today's weather may be short-lived, autumn is just around the corner and now is a good time to get back into those seasonal driving habits.
